What we do
We share Japanese culture through events, practical workshops, and time together in the community.
Kimono cultural events
Join our kimono shows, seasonal gatherings, and annual New Year Kimono Contest in Little Tokyo. These events give members and guests a chance to wear kimono and enjoy Japanese traditions together.
Workshops & education
Learn about kimono through obi tying workshops and cultural programs. Beginners are welcome to ask questions and take part.
Community outings
Our New Year luncheons, group outings, and local celebrations are a chance to meet fellow kimono enthusiasts and spend time together around Los Angeles.
Cultural demonstrations
We introduce Japanese clothing traditions through kimono shows and demonstrations. Past programs include appearances at Central Library and Sherman Oaks Library, and a Fox Wedding kimono show at OC Japan Fair.
Collaborations
We work with libraries, schools, cultural organizations, and public event organizers. Contact us to discuss a Japanese cultural program for your community.
