Our annual event New Year Kimono Contest in Little Tokyo will be held again this year! 

We are seeking contestants who are into Japanese traditional Kimono culture and willing to show off on stage beautifully. 

This is for anybody who is able to walk, pose, and have a little speech on stage.

1st prize winner will receive $200 cash, nice Obi purse from Gekka, flower bouquet from Little Tokyo Florist. 2nd, 3rd and Special recognition winners will also receive kimono related items from Gekka and Kimonoyala, and all participants will receive professional portrait photos from Wakawakka Kimono & Photo Studio, 1 year LA Kimono Club membership, Tabi (kimono socks)from Mita Sky, and Kimono pattern shoe laces from Himo Color.

*1st prize winner will have responsibilities to be a Kimono ambassador for 2024 and be asked to participate in a few public events.
