About the event
Kimono beauty contest for any age, gender, ethinicity! You just have to show up in traditional Japanese Kimono(formal kimono would be recommended.) We will judge by your self introduction speech, walking, posing and appearance on the stage.
Top winner will receive $200 cash, 2nd and 3rd winners will receive kimono items from Kimonoyala, all participants will receive tabi 足袋 from Mita Kimono, professional portraits from WakaWakka Kimono & Photo Studio, and 1 year membership to the LA Kimono Club.
※Please understand that winners will have responsibilities to represent LA Kimono Club at a few public events for the year. (Spring Kimono shows, Nisei Week parade etc)
