New Year Kimono Contest
Celebrate the Japanese New Year by showing off your beautiful Kimono on stage! You will receive many prizes from our sponsors. No gender or nationality limit! Anyone older than 16 can partcipate in this event.

About the event
You will wear an authentic Japanese kimono (preferably a formal Kimono), walk, and strike poses on stage.
Our judges and the audience will vote for the person they believe would make the perfect Kimono ambassador for 2026.

Winners and all participants will receive lovely gifts from our sponsors! (Ex. Gorgeous formal Obi and flower arrangement bouquet, special studio portrait session for the winner, Japanese accessories, and Tabi socks for everyone. There may be more surprises!)
The first prize winner will be responsible for attending public events a few times during 2026.
